WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM - NYC

Project Feature

World Economic Forum engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.  The North American headquarters is located in New York City with its international headquarters located in Geneva, Switzerland.  The World Economic Forum’s New York location covers 40,000 SF and occupies the entirety of the 10th and 11th floors at 350 Madison Avenue in the heart of Manhattan.

The LEED Platinum Certified office was created by NY firm –  Montroy, Andersen, DiMarco(www.madgi.com) and included accent, ambient lighting and acoustical treatments for sound absorption and durable finishes. The overall design for the entire space is light, warm, and contemporary, with an understated European aesthetic and feel, that is a nod to the Geneva roots of the company. The project distinctly features layers of Light using iGuzzini 10 cell Laser Blade High Contrast Downlight and Wall Washer, Cove Lighting by VLT 1S and direct lines of light by Finelite HP-2 Direct recessed and surface luminaires all in 3000K.

The Fantoni Ceiling

There are 3 layers of light used in the Fantoni Ceiling: Finelite’s HP-2 Direct to work with the Fantoni Ceiling, Track Lighting Paloma from WAC lighting and iGuzzini Laser Blade downlights and wallwashers.
