That’s why VISA created Gig, a comfortable, non-institutional reading light with touch-dimming controls.  Gig features a IK10 (100 joules) high-abuse impact rating, an impact resistant polycarbonate lens and anti-ligature construction.  This compact light task light is designed for patient and caregiver safety.  Its minimalist, attractive design and high quality illumination provide visual comfort.  It dims with capacitive touch controls, so that the patient can exercise control over their environment.
